Billing is always in EUR
Whatever you pick in the header selector, all charges are processed in EUR. EUR is the only currency GSG uses for Stripe payments and escrow.
If your card or account is in another currency, your bank handles the conversion at its own rate.
What the selector is for
To show an approximate price in your reference currency for quick comparison. Display only.
Available:
- EUR (€) — actual billing currency.
- USD ($) — display.
- GBP (£) — display.
- CHF (Fr) — display.
Where the rates come from
FX rates refresh periodically (multiple times a day) from a market data provider. Not firm quotes: at checkout the real amount in EUR is the listed one, not the USD/GBP/CHF equivalent you saw.
For the exact rate that will apply to your payment, ask your bank or card issuer.
Where your choice is stored
In a cookie on this device. Different browser or mobile? You'll see the default (EUR) until you change it there too.
It's per-device, not per-account.
Checkout warning
At checkout the EUR amount is clearly highlighted. If your display was in another currency, we show the approximate equivalent with a note: "you will be charged in EUR".
