Option A · Direct shipping by the seller
The seller packs and ships directly to the buyer. This is the default for pieces up to €20.00 and for professional sellers with positive track record.
Seller requirements
- Continuous packaging video (from piece to sealed parcel, no cuts).
- Carrier label visible in the video.
- Ship within 48 hours of receiving payment.
- Keep the carrier receipt for at least 90 days.
Option B · GSG custody
The seller ships the piece to GSG HQ first. The verification team inspects it, issues a technical report and ships it to the buyer. Recommended for premium pieces or when the buyer requests it.
Custody flow
- Seller ships piece to HQ.
- Verification team inspects and issues report.
- GSG ships to buyer with the report attached.
- Buyer confirms; payment is released to the seller.
Carriers
DHL is the default carrier. For high-value pieces the team may assign specialised operators (Brink's, Loomis) at no extra cost to the buyer.
Insurance
All shipments are insured at sale value. Insurance cost is 0.5% of the value and is paid by the buyer at checkout.
Mandatory videos
Packaging by the seller and opening by the buyer. Without these videos, claims for damage or missing content may be rejected.
