Why we need KYC
Trading valuable items (gold, silver, numismatics) is regulated and parties must be identified. On GSG KYC is mandatory before buying, selling, bidding or making offers. Without verification you can't complete any value operation.
Documents required
As an individual (4 docs):
- ID front
- ID back
- Selfie holding your ID
- Recent proof of address (utility bill, bank statement)
As a professional (plus the 4 above):
- Tax certificate (VAT)
- Articles of incorporation
- Legal representative's ID
How to upload
Go to My profile. You'll see a checklist for each required document. Upload the missing ones from the same panel — JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF up to 8 MB.
How long it takes
Once everything is submitted, the team reviews in 24–48 business hours. You'll get an email when finished:
- Approved ✓ full platform access.
- Rejected ✗ we tell you which document fails. Re-upload and the queue starts over.
Privacy
Documents live in a private bucket, encrypted at rest. Only legal and compliance can access them. We never share them with other users or third parties without your explicit consent (unless required by a court order).
