The principle
At GSG no one gets paid before delivering. When the buyer pays, the amount is held by the platform and never reaches the seller until we confirm the piece arrived.
The 5 stages
- Payment captured — buyer pays via Stripe. Funds parked at GSG.
- Shipping — seller dispatches (modality A or B).
- Delivered — buyer receives the parcel and uploads the unboxing video.
- 24-hour window — buyer can open a dispute if anything is off.
- Release — after 24h without dispute, funds release automatically to the seller (minus GSG fee).
When release is BLOCKED
Three situations stop release:
- An open dispute on the order.
- Seller has no verified bank account (Stripe Connect or approved ownership doc).
- Seller's KYC is not approved.
These guardrails ensure every euro leaving GSG goes to an identified person/company and a real account.
Withdrawing a dispute
If you open a dispute and later withdraw it, money does not release immediately — we apply a 5-day cooldown in case you change your mind.
Fees
GSG keeps a seller fee (5% standard, 3%–4% based on seller tier). Buyers pay no extra fee beyond the listed price.
