What it's for
When you're torn between similar pieces, the Comparator lines them up in a 15-field side-by-side table so you can decide on facts.
Adding pieces
Every product card on marketplace has a small "Compare" button (scale icon). Tap to add.
Rules:
- Up to 3 pieces at a time.
- Once you hit 3, the "Compare" button is disabled elsewhere. Remove one first.
- The selection persists across pages while you browse the marketplace.
The sticky bottom bar
After adding the first, a sticky bar appears at the bottom with thumbnails of selected pieces. From there:
- Remove individually (X on each thumbnail).
- Clear all ("Clear" button).
- Open the comparator ("View comparison" button).
The /comparador page
At /comparador you see a 15-field side-by-side table:
- Main photo.
- Title.
- Price.
- Seller.
- Country / year.
- Metal.
- Weight (g).
- Purity (‰).
- Diameter (mm).
- Condition / grade.
- Certification (PCGS / NGC / etc., if any).
- Sale mode.
- Shipping mode.
- Stock / uniqueness.
- Time on sale.
"Best" badge
On each numeric row (price, weight, purity, diameter), if there's a unique winner, a green "Best" badge appears beside it:
- Price: lowest wins.
- Weight / purity / diameter: highest wins.
If two pieces tie on that field, no badge is shown (no unique winner).
Limits
- Only PUBLISHED pieces can be compared. Sold or withdrawn ones disappear.
- Lots can't be compared with each other or mixed with single pieces.
- Selection lives on this device — not synced between phone and desktop.
